This department is actively involved in the teaching of medical students. The students are encouraged to participate in small research projects as a part of their training and are exposed to covering basic and advance subjects on mental health through a structural teaching program and develop skills and communication and to learn techniques of the mental staff examination and psychiatric interviews.
